“A bit of magic can always be found, whenever the mice come back around.”™ - Tuckamore Mouse in the House ™

When I was a little girl, one of my aunt’s had a quilted cottage, tissue box cover, and a set of little ceramic frogs in her powder room; in my mind, the little frogs came out of that house and got up to all sorts of mischief when no-one was looking. They, to me, were pure magic.

I wanted to have something in our own home that reflected that bit of fun and whimsy so I created ‘Mouse in the House’, that became our tradition during the month of December. The mice are found doing all sorts of things, mostly leisure related, (i.e., they may be found enjoying the same piece of cheese for a few days), leading up to Christmas morning.

Each year that I’d post about our mice, I would have people asking if I sell them, so, I decided to make ‘Mouse in the House’™, an official product for others to enjoy in their homes, too.

Each mouse comes with a little green scarf and a heart of gold. I also include a letter from our homestead explaining the mice, their happenings, and asking if your home would welcome the Mouse in the House.
